Custom high-end folding magnetic paper box.Simple black or white printing, premium hot stamping logo, making this paper box luxury and elegant. The paper material is good, silky and comfortable, making the gift more interesting. Fold flat construction saves the shippping cost, but it is rigid box.Private ordering, you can make a specific pattern, define your own mind.
The production process of gift boxes is much more complicated than folding boxes. After folding boxes are processed, they usually go through printing-surface treatment (hot stamping, silver plating, lamination, UV, impact convex, etc.)-die cutting-pasting boxes-inspection-packaging.
The production process of the gift box is through printing-surface treatment-die cutting of outsourcing material-die cutting of gray board-slotting of gray board-forming of gray board-pasting of outsourcing material-assembly-completed inspection-packaging. From the perspective of the process of the two products, the production process of gift boxes is complicated and cumbersome, and the process standard is much higher than that of folding boxes.
In our daily life, most high-end gift boxes are wrapped in paper, and the surface of the paper is also the most suitable for multi-process applications, so the following process description is based on paper as the fabric.
1. Paper selection
According to the design requirements of customer documents and the effect to be reflected, the choice of paper is very important. The main consideration in this regard: the type of paper, such as coated paper, art paper, pearl paper. The thickness of the paper. The paper should not be too thick. It is easy to wrinkle when pasted, but it should not be too thin. Consider surface decoration.
2. Surface decoration
The surface decoration process is very important, the most common main offset printing, and then various processes on this basis are: ① reverse light; ② film (light film, dumb film, touch film, scratch-resistant film, etc.) ); ③ hot stamping (gold, red gold, color gold, silver, laser, etc.); ④ partial scraping of UV oil or screen ink; ⑤ special colorful powder; ⑥ protruding; ⑦ embossing and so on.
3. Choose grayboard
Gray board paper is called gray card, which is made from a kind of recycled waste paper. Mainly divided into single gray, double gray, full gray, high gloss, according to customer requirements for surface flatness. It is an environmentally friendly packaging material. The quantity ranges from 250g to 10000g, and the thickness is 0.4mm to 20mm. There is no upper limit for thickness and quantity. Generally, gray board cards of appropriate specifications are selected according to the size of the box.
4. Die cutting
Die-cutting is a very important part of the process. For special gift boxes, die-cutting technology requires high, product quality precision and accuracy, and a little error directly affects the subsequent processing quality.
5. Slotting
Slotting is to use a slotting machine to discharge the V-shaped groove on a gray board with a thickness of 1~4MM. Generally, a connection layer of about 0.25MM is maintained. The V-shaped groove is an angle, generally 90 degrees, 120 degrees, or according to the product structure. V-grooves at different angles.
Slotting is a key step in making gift boxes. Before the gray board is formed, it must be V-shaped to eliminate the gray board, so that the gray board can be bent, the outer line is straight and the square inner, with sharp edges and precise four corners.
6. Paste
It is a necessary process for the frame and gift box craftsmanship. It is glued with paper, art paper, wool, leather glue or glue according to the requirements of different products. The appearance of the box is beautified, and the added value of the box is improved.
Usually the packaging box is a die-cut frame, and only the paper gift box can be die-cut after installation. The purpose of this is: firstly, it is afraid of stains on the outsourcing material, which will affect the appearance; secondly, the overall effect of the gift box is harmonious. Only after installation can the support body be completely covered, so that the gray board is wrapped with a novel design outsourcing material, presenting us with a gorgeous artwork. Third, some boxes with complex structures still cannot be pasted manually. This is not a substitute for machines. It is just that every detail of the box body is manually pasted in place, so that the external installation paper and gray board can be pasted more closely.
Quality defect name
There are many steps in the process of making gift boxes. The control of each step is the key to the quality of the box. Quality depends on the quality of process control.
In this process, the quality of each process hides risks. These risks are not due to imperfect process design or incomplete equipment performance. The most common cause is the lack of quality awareness of operators and uneven skill levels, and the process control is not rigorous, which often occurs. Quality loopholes, these are the worst enemy gift boxes of stable quality. This is particularly important.
The most common defects or quality control points are:
1. Loose edges: After the paper is pasted, the four edges of the box body will not adhere tightly, and there will be a phenomenon of hanging between the paper and the gray board.
2. Wrinkles: Irregular folds with different lengths are formed on the surface of the paper after pasting.
3. Broken corners: After the paper is pasted, the four corners of the box appear to be broken and white.
4. Exposed ash (exposed bottom): Due to the insufficient accuracy of the knife plate making, or the offset of positioning during the pasting operation, the stacking position of the pasted paper is folded after being folded, and the gray board is exposed.
5. Blistering: Irregular blister with different sizes on the surface of the box.
6. Glue stains: traces of glue remaining on the surface.
7. Protrusions (acne): There are particulate matter remaining in the lower layer of the packaging material, which partially propped up the surface and destroyed the flatness of the box surface.
8. High and low angle: After the gray board is half-through die-cutting or slotting, the four sides are folded and formed, and the two adjacent sides are inconsistent in height.
9. Water ripple: After the box body is pasted, in order to make the edges and corners adhere more tightly, it is necessary to scrape the four sides of the box body with a scraper. Due to the irregular force, the entire edge will appear. Strips or small bubbles of different lengths and bumps, like water ripples.
