1. Improve the acid wetting fluid. The acid wetting fluid that has been used for decades in my country is mainly chromic acid and phosphoric acid. The stronger the acidity, the greater the decomposing and corrosive power of the ink binder and the pigment, resulting in a rough surface of the imprinted film and a reduced gloss. There have been breakthroughs in the research and development of wetting fluids in recent years, such as Shanghai's "Lide Wetting Powder", which can be said to be effective. 2. Reduce ink emulsification. The excessive emulsification of ink in offset printing is mostly caused by the large amount of water and ink in the operation. The imprint looks like a thick ink layer, but the ink molecules become oil-in-water state, and the gloss is extremely poor after drying, and a series of other Fault. Water and ink are the most taboo practices in offset printing. To change this situation, in addition to regular quality and technical education for operators, it is recommended to use "Lide Wetting Powder", because this agent has better wetting performance. Even if the moisture content of the layout is small, it is not easy to get dirty. It is not only conducive to operation, but also makes the finished product shiny.
3. Appropriately add auxiliary agents to the ink. Adding appropriate auxiliary agents to the ink can adjust the printability of the ink for smooth printing. Most adjuvants will adversely affect the gloss of the finished product. For example: anti-sticking agent, the main raw material is six-grain flour. After adding ink, the surface of the imprinted film layer becomes rough due to the precipitation of corn flour, and the gloss of the finished product is poor. Another example is the addition of No. 6 thin varnish, which not only increases the fluidity, but also increases the permeability of the imprint on the paper, and also reduces the dryness, which is not good for the gloss of the imprint. Therefore, the amount of general auxiliary agent added to the ink should not exceed 5%. If the gloss effect is considered, it should be used less or not. However, fluorocarbon surfactants are different. It can prevent surface defects such as orange peel and wrinkling in the ink layer, and can improve the gloss of the printed surface.
4. Use dry oil correctly. For high-grade bright and quick-drying ink, under normal temperature and humidity, it has enough drying ability. Drying oil should be added in the following situations: First, when the temperature and humidity are low in winter; second, when the ink needs to be added with anti-sticking agent, de-sticking agent, thin ink varnish, etc., it should be added. Dry oil. Correct use of drying oils in process operations is very beneficial for the formation of gloss in the finished product. This is because it takes a certain amount of time for the paper to absorb the binder. In this process, the binder is condensed as soon as possible until the conjunctiva is dry, which is the key to the good gloss of the finished product.
5. Pay attention to dusting. Like ink, powder spraying will also agglomerate, especially in poorly sealed bags or barrels. After spraying powder is damp, it will agglomerate into larger particles, which will be sprayed on the wet ink marks, making the surface of the ink layer conjunctival rough and reducing The original luster is lost, so you should pay attention to moisture-proof when spraying powder. In addition, there is a heating device on the mechanism of the powder spraying device. When using the powder spraying device, it should be checked to see if the heating device fails.
6. Correctly adjust the machine. Whether the thickness of the imprinted ink layer meets the standard also affects the gloss. For example, the pressure adjustment is poor, the dot enlargement rate is high, the thickness of the ink layer does not meet the standard, and the gloss of the finished product is slightly worse. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the pressure so that the expansion rate of the dots is controlled at about 15%, and the ink layer of the printed product is thick, the layers are stretched, and the gloss is also obtained.
7. Garvan Lishui (No. 0 oil). This oil is very viscous and thick, and can adjust the ink concentration to thicken the thin ink and increase the gloss of the printed product.
8. Add gloss paste. The gloss paste is processed from raw materials with high gloss, which can increase the gloss of the ink, but the amount should not be too large, otherwise the drying speed of the ink will be reduced, and the phenomenon of sticking and drawing will appear, which will affect the gloss.
