   adhesive index

 

  The viscosity and solid content of the adhesive for corrugated board should be adjusted according to the season.

 

Generally, at low temperature and low humidity (winter), the viscosity of the adhesive for single-corrugated cardboard is 17-21s (coating 4 cups, the same below), and the solid content is 17%-19%; the viscosity of the adhesive for three-corrugated cardboard is 40- 60s, the solid content is 18%-20%.

 

In high temperature and high humidity (summer), the viscosity of the adhesive for single-corrugated board is 20-25s, and the solid content is 19%-22%; the viscosity of the adhesive for three-corrugated board is 55-90s, and the solid content is 21%-25 %.

 

   In addition, the length of the adhesive should be 15-20mm (dip a little adhesive with your thumb, stick with the index finger, slowly pull the two fingers apart until the distance between the two fingers when the adhesive breaks) is 15-20mm.

  (1) The moisture content of the base paper. The moisture content of the base paper should be 6% to 8%, which is most beneficial to the adhesion and corrugation forming effect of corrugated cardboard. The difference in moisture content between the left, middle, and right sides of the three base papers and each base paper shall not exceed 3%.

 

  (2) Production time of base paper. The production dates of the three base papers must be similar before they can be used on the machine.

 

  (3) The number of folds of the base paper. The base paper should be produced in a low-temperature and low-humidity environment. In order to prevent the carton from bursting due to the low number of folding resistance, the number of folding resistance of the base paper must be more than 50 times.

 

  (4) The strength of the base paper. The strength of the base paper is determined according to the customer's compression requirements for the corrugated box used and the production process of the carton. If the compressive strength of a certain box type carton is required to reach 1500N, through analysis and calculation, if the offset printing carton is used, the base paper should be high-strength A grade, the basis weight is 120g/m2, and the ring pressure index is greater than 7N·m/g; if watermarking is used Or the pre-printed process printing carton, the base paper should be high-strength A grade, the basis weight is 110g/m2, and the ring pressure index is greater than 6N·m/g.

 

   The choice of base paper strength is more complicated, and it can only be determined after analysis, calculation, and testing according to related technologies. Once determined, for this type of box, the base paper must not be replaced, and the base paper of the specified corresponding strength must be selected during production.

 

   Original paper force adjustment

 

  The strength of the original paper should be adjusted according to the longitudinal bending degree of the corrugated board and the usage conditions.

 

   When the corrugated cardboard is bent in a certain direction of the base paper in the longitudinal direction, the tension of the base paper should be released. The control of the tension of the base paper roll core is different from that of the external tension of the roll. The roll core must reduce the strength of the raw paper to prevent the paper from breaking. Excessive strength of the original paper may cause quality problems such as paper breakage, longitudinal bending of the corrugated board, and unsatisfactory corrugated forming effect. On the contrary, it may easily cause the corrugated board to blistering and warping.

   The surface temperature of the preheating roller must reach above 100℃, and the temperature of the hot pressing plate must reach above 150℃.

 

  The size of the preheating wrap angle is proportional to the contact area of the base paper on the preheating roller and the moisture content of the base paper. During the production process, the preheating wrap angle can be increased or reduced according to the horizontal bending degree of the corrugated cardboard. For example, when single-corrugated cardboard and triple-corrugated cardboard are bent in the transverse direction, in which direction the base paper is bent, the preheated wrap angle of the base paper is increased, and the preheated wrap angle of other base papers is reduced.

   Although stacking paper at the bridge will help the corrugated board to evaporate moisture, excessive stacking of paper will cause the corrugated board to appear washboard and bend. Therefore, the amount of stacking paper must be reasonably controlled according to the effect of the board.

 

  Dust removal system

 

   When producing three-corrugated cardboard, the cleanliness of the cardboard should be ensured, the dust removal system of the corrugated cardboard production line, the dust removal with the brush, and the suction device are turned on to reduce the printing quality problems caused by the paper wool in the subsequent printing process.

 

   Steam pressure and hot plate control

 

   Ensure that the minimum vapor pressure is greater than 7kg, and the internal temperature of the hot press plate reaches 150°C before starting production. In actual production, the hot press board is reasonably adjusted according to the degree of bending of the corrugated board and the speed of the vehicle.

 

   When the corrugated cardboard is bent transversely to the direction of the box board, the latter set of hot press plates should be lifted to ensure that the glue is gelatinized, and the internal temperature of the hot press plates is reduced. When producing corrugated cardboard with a longitudinal dimension less than 600mm, the machine speed should be reduced by 30% to 40%, and the latter set of hot plate vapor pressure devices should be closed or lifted, and the hot plate can be lifted to dissipate heat at the same time.

 

For pre-printed paperboard, if you want to achieve no quality problems under the temperature of 150 ℃, the pre-printed face paper should use high-temperature resistant varnish. Once the pre-printed face paper is found to have ink and varnish patterns at this high temperature, the heat should be removed. The temperature of the pressing plate is reduced to 130°C for re-production.

 

   According to the size of corrugated cardboard

 

   After the production of the larger corrugated board is completed, the smaller corrugated board shall not be produced immediately. For example, after our factory normally produces corrugated cardboard with a longitudinal dimension of 1020mm, if the corrugated cardboard with a smaller longitudinal dimension (such as less than 600mm) is replaced immediately, the internal temperature of the hot press board cannot be greatly reduced due to the short time after the shutdown. Causes the corrugated board to produce serious bending deformation. Therefore, the production of corrugated cardboard with a longitudinal dimension less than 600mm should be placed at the beginning of a single day's production.

 

   After the smaller size corrugated board is produced, the larger size corrugated board is not allowed to be produced immediately. This is because the production of smaller corrugated cardboard is carried out at low speed and low temperature. Once the larger corrugated cardboard is replaced immediately, the temperature of the hot plate cannot be quickly raised to the set temperature, the glue is not sufficiently gelatinized, and the moisture Slow dissipating will make the stiffness of the cardboard lower, and the corrugated will have no stiffness. Therefore, it can be produced only after the temperature of the hot pressing plate reaches the standard range.

 

   pressure regulation

 

   First is the pressure adjustment between the upper and lower corrugating rollers and the pressure roller, which directly affects the corrugation forming effect. If the pressure is too high, the corrugation will burst or collapse when forming the corrugated sheet; if the pressure is not uniform, the thickness of the corrugated board will be uneven, and the amount of glue will be uneven; if the pressure is too small, the corrugated forming effect will be worse.

 

   Next is the adjustment of the sizing gap. The gap value is inversely proportional to the pressure. If the gap value is too small, that is, if the pressure is too large, the stiffness of the cardboard will decrease, the corrugation height will decrease, and the compressive strength of the carton will decrease; if the gap value is too large, that is, if the pressure is too small, it will affect the cardboard bonding effect. , Resulting in weak bonding. When producing single-corrugated cardboard, the sizing gap value is 3.2~3.6mm; when producing three-corrugated cardboard, the sizing gap value of single-corrugated cardboard is 2.6mm, and the sizing gap value of three-corrugated cardboard is 2.2mm. The value of the gap should be guaranteed to be 3.0mm.

 

  Vehicle speed control

 

The vehicle speed has a great influence on the flatness of the corrugated board. Under the premise that the vapor pressure is about 7kg and the hot platen temperature is about 150℃, when the longitudinal dimension of the corrugated board is greater than 600mm, the vehicle speed should be controlled to 140~160m/min; When the longitudinal dimension is less than 600mm, the vehicle speed should be controlled to 90-100m/min.

 

  Inside the pressure plate cleaning

 

When the paper lint, paper scraps or glue solid matter and other impurities adhere to the surface of the hot platen or the surface of the adhesive tape, it will cause scratches and gullies on the surface of the corrugated cardboard. At this time, the machine must be shut down for cleaning, otherwise the subsequent printing process It is prone to inking quality problems.

  Single-corrugated cardboard and triple-corrugated cardboard must be palletized or collected neatly and the quantity must be accurate.

 

   20 sheets of single corrugated cardboard are stacked upside-down. 500 sheets of three-corrugated cardboard are one set. When the bending radius is greater than 1% of the width of the cardboard, each cardboard is also stacked with 20 front and back sides to avoid continuous bending and deformation of the cardboard during storage.
