At the same time, it provides reference proofs for the printing ink color, ink layer density and dot increase data, and serves as a signature proof sheet for editing and proofreading.

 

Proofing is the bridge between plate making and printing. Its quality is good or bad, directly affect the quality of plate and print.

At present, there are many ways of color proofing, but the domestic printing enterprises are still mainly using traditional machine proofing. Some common problems in traditional machine proofing are analyzed below.

 

1. The increase of network points is excessive

Especially in summer, the indoor temperature is too high, if there is no air conditioning equipment, will inevitably cause the increase of ink fluidity, the general solution is to add 2% of the external oil in the ink, so that the viscosity of the ink increases; The version of the cooling temperature is appropriate to reduce 1 ~ 2℃, increase the condensation power of ink, so that after treatment, the increase rate of dot will be improved.

In addition, the reasons for the increase of the dot are the following factors, which should be paid attention to.

 

(1) The pressure of the plate is too large. The plate pressure is best in the range of 0.1 ~ 0.11mm, and the paper pressure should be in the range of 0.12 ~ 0.13mm, which is good for improving the dot increase.

 

(2) Aging of the rubber blanket. If the rubber cloth is used for too long, the surface is oxidized, the elasticity is weakened, and the surface is smooth. With such a blanket proofing, ink adsorption is poor, transmission performance is not good, will inevitably cause excessive dot increase. Therefore, to replace the new blanket in time.

 

(3) the pressure of the ink roller is too large, the ink roller is aging, and the ink roller itself can not grasp the ink. The pressure of the ink roller should be adjusted according to the standard in time. The pressure of the ink roller and the plate should be adjusted to 6mm, and the pressure of the ink roller and the ink roller should be adjusted to 4mm. And timely replacement of the ink roller.

 

(4) Too much ink. Sometimes due to the shallow version, in order to track the original manuscript, not according to the standard data operation, too much increase in ink, resulting in excessive dot increase. Therefore, under any circumstances must strictly according to the standard data operation, can not borrow deep, borrow shallow, the original is too shallow should improve the original.

 

(5) Excessive moisture. If the water is too large, the ink can not be printed. To print the ink, the ink will be diluted, and the ink will increase, which will inevitably cause the dot to increase too much. Therefore, the moisture must be controlled during operation.

 

(6) version of the refrigeration temperature is too high, refrigeration does not work, so that the ink can not be condensed, the fluidity is large, resulting in excessive dot increase. Adjust the refrigeration equipment in time and master the fluidity of the ink.

 

2. The dot appears hollow

Sometimes the proofing dot is too small, the dim sum appears hollow, this situation has the following reasons.

(1) winter due to low indoor temperature, relative humidity is small, operation, printing plate refrigeration is too low, ink viscosity is large, ink on the plate due to cold and solidification, blanket in the transfer of ink, the ink on the plate, the ink is pulled up, and the center is pulled back to the plate, resulting in a dot center with a small white dot.

 

(2) PS version rough, sand mesh is too coarse.

 

(3) The pressure is not appropriate.

 

The solution is:

(1) The temperature of the version table can be appropriately increased.

 

(2) add 5% removing agent in the ink to make the ink moist and appropriate fluidity.

 

(3) to choose sand mesh uniform, moderate depth of PS plate.

 

3. The proof is dull

The proof sheet is dull mainly because the ink is too hard, the fluidity is small, the ink is insufficient, and the color saturation is low. The solution is:

(1) The use of "8" letterhead ink, can add 5% in the four main colors of the thinning agent, so that the gloss of the proof can be improved.

 

(2) The amount of ink should be played enough to achieve the best field density, and the proof will be shiny.
