Wet Lamination


The wet cold stamping method is to print the image on the substrate and coat the UV adhesive, and then use the pressure roller to attach the cold foil to the substrate, and use the UV lamp to dry the UV glue on the substrate to make the image sticky. Remove excess foil. The main process steps are as follows:


    1. Print free radical UV adhesives on web substrates.


    2. Apply cold stamping foil to the substrate section.


3. When curing free-radical UV adhesive, since the adhesive is sandwiched between the cold stamping foil and the printing village, the UV light must pass through the stamping foil to reach the adhesive layer.


4. The hot stamping foil is peeled off from the substrate and the hot stamped graphics are formed on the substrate. Since the wet cold stamping process uses free radical UV adhesives to replace traditional cationic UV adhesives; the initial adhesion of UV adhesives is stronger, and it can be sticky again after curing; and the metallization of hot stamping foils The layer should have a certain light transmittance to ensure that the UV light can pass through and initiate the curing reaction of the UV adhesive.
