In the process of using InDesign typesetting often need some shading and patterns, how to do? It can only be done in other software.

The examples for the following pages were created using Teacup Software's PatternMaker. First create the shape with the Rectangle Tool and then through the window. Tools > After the PatternMaker menu item, click on any of the patterns. The color palette will update to show all your Settings for that mode. Try it! Try to adjust different Settings after and see how it changes!

Because these patterns are EPS graphics, the display Settings for these patterns are required to select the "high quality display" solution, if on a slower computer may require a longer screen display time. If you want to speed it up, go to InDesign's Provisioning dialog and select the Display Performance selection area. Select High Quality Display as the default value, and select the Keep objects displayed hierarchically check box.
