Corrugated Carton Paper Boxes plate making process "smart revision" 4 talk about
In the work of printing plant in the production of PS plates, printing personnel often encounter such problems: Due to the requirements of the sponsor or the needs of the printing process, the original folio film is used to produce quarto plates, or the original joint plate of eight (or six) plates is used to produce six (or four) plates, and the original film is required not to be damaged (especially in the case of book cover and cover joint plates).
The usual method is to first print the plate according to the conventional method, and then use the retouching paste (or retouching liquid) to repair the excess text and text. However, because some of the plates are joint plate styles, especially the field full plate or graphic full plate associated version, the use of retouching paste (or retouching liquid) when retouching the plate will often be eroded by the potion of useful parts of the page, affecting the quality of the plate, and it is easy to cause waste. If the useless part can not be repaired or repaired thoroughly, it will bring certain difficulties to the printing process, such as: when printing, the dirty plate at the bottom of the print, resulting in the phenomenon of plate ink, rubber ink, etc., affecting the quality of the print.
In view of the practical difficulties existing in daily work, we "think" out a "clever revision" method.
1. According to the requirements of the commission or printing process, the first exposure of the printing plate is carried out according to the specified size (mouth, rule requirements), and this operation must be strictly standardized according to the printing operation.
2. At the same time of the second exposure of the printing plate, we cut the red film according to the required size, in which the area of the red film cut out should be slightly larger than the area of the required part of the printing plate, and one side must be cut into a straight line, and no red film burrs. Pay attention to check whether the red film used has light leakage points, if it does, it cannot be used.
3. When the first exposure is complete, remove the original film, cover the required part (useful part) of the plate with the red film, and align the edges of the red film with the rules on the plate (if the original film has no rules, It is necessary to design the rules according to the size requirements before the first exposure) and glue both sides of it with adhesive paper (to prevent the red film covering the printing plate from moving) and then put it into the printing machine to vacuum exposure, before exposure must pay attention to the movement of the red film and whether it leaves a "white edge". The exposure time at this time can be l ~ 2 times the first exposure time.
4. After the second exposure, and then according to the conventional development plate, you can get a plate that meets the requirements.
