Precautions for Chocolate Boxes Imposition Printing

Notes on imposition printing of Chocolate Boxes:

1. One-page printed matter

When imposing, leave a 6mm bleeding edge in the center (vertical midline) splicing, that is, leave 3mm bleeding on all four sides of each single page (two cuts are required).

Explanation: If the prints you make do not have bleeding pictures, shading, or are completely one-color shading, etc., you can make the layout according to the method of 1, and you can make a knife in the center.

2. The imposition of the envelope

In ordinary manufacturing, we are used to putting together the envelope together with the "tongue", which is more expensive than paper (there is a blank piece that is not used), but the pattern has good continuity.

Another way is to return the cover to the cover, and make the "tongue" alone, so as to save paper, but with one more "paste work", that is, one more glue (or one more double-sided tape) when the product is finished.

3. Chocolate Boxes

Imposition

Ordinary large packaging boxes (beyond 8K) do not need to make up, and print directly

The following is a brief introduction to the imposition of the small package.

Try to make the imposition task as compact as possible under the premise of closing and opening, but the packaging box involves a lot of back-end processes, and rolling the box (cutting out the edge and pressing the crease line) is the most important thing. At this time, you need to pay attention to the imposition. The distance between the two edge lines recently is not less than 3mm, otherwise it will be very troublesome when arranging the knife, which will affect the quality of the product.

After you have completed the imposition (approved by the customer's signature), it is best to produce a large die-cut film to facilitate the printing factory to arrange the knives.

4. Hand thorn cards

Allies who can type, copy and make hand thorns have such experience, make 8 hand thorns on a piece of hand thorn paper, and then cut them out with a card cutter. In fact, it is very expensive to do this. My experience is that a sheet of hand-punched paper can be used for 10 hand-punches without a card cutting machine. If the number is small, you can use a ruler and a knife. If the number is large, you can borrow the cutting paper from the printing factory. machine, very convenient, and very economical. If you only want to make one or two boxes of thorns, and they happen to be colorful, and you have an envelope to make, then apply the blank space of the envelope.

5. Tag cards and stickers, etc.

Very annoying device. But it's not difficult, just be careful and calculate the size. There are three categories:

(1) One-size-fits-all (no bleeding), similar to hand stabbing, the entire outermost edge needs bleeding;

(2) Two cuts (including bleeding);

(3) Box rolling, punching, and filleting (requires a knife layout, the spelling is the same as 2);

(4) Mixed and combined categories, under the condition that the number of requirements is proportional, they can be combined in the closed layout.

6. The following is a method for drawing edges and corners that I commonly use for beginners. It is very suitable. It should have been posted to the vector section, but because it is closely related to this post, it is posted here.

(1) Select the hand-painted tool, press the Ctrl key, draw a continuous line segment (hairline) vertically in the upper left corner of the page, and change the size to 3mm;

(2) Ctrl+A (align and spread), D, T, L; [Note: Alt+A+A (the method of opening the menu) in CD9 and later versions, the same as below

(3) Change the x coordinate to 3, and tap the + sign on the numeric keyboard (the far right of the keyboard) to copy a line;

(4) Change the x coordinate to 6, and group the two line segments;

(5) Press the + button again to copy, and twist it 90 degrees;

(6) Decrease the x and y-axis coordinates by 3 each, and a group of corners has been completed, then group this group of corners and press the + key to copy, and then mirror it horizontally;

(7) Ctrl+A, D, R, you don't need to use T at this time, and the graph is moved horizontally;

(8) Select all two sets of corner lines, press + to copy, and mirror vertically;

(9) Ctrl+A, D, B, the corner line is completed;

(10) Finally, don't forget to add a CMYK color-coded book cover.
