Several problems that Cigarette Tipping Paper tends to overlook when exporting prepress documents
Whether the character used in the print is indicated
You should indicate the name, version, number, and font (TrueType or Postscript) of all characters, making sure that you are selecting real characters from the character menu (such as GaramondBold) and not a style like "bold" from the style menu. You should also consult with your pre-press service provider or printer about your character file requirements. In some RIPs, TrueType and Type1
Interference between Postscript characters causes character substitution and string bits.
Whether all colors have been converted from red, green and blue to yellow and green and black
If you do not convert the image to a tan black mode in your electronic file, the printed image may be black and white or have unacceptable color bias. Remember to name all colors in the file and ensure that the exact same names are used for colors designed and introduced in the image processing program.
Unless you plan to print small blocks or common colors with a special ink, be sure to use the yellow and black setting mode for all colors. Small block areas should also be converted to color mode as long as the full page choreographer allows.
Whether bleeding printing can be performed when required
Be sure that all bleeding prints are extended to the edge of the page as required by the printer. It is very convenient to implement image bleeding in full-page editing program, but it is relatively time-consuming and expensive in printing.
Have you considered the original large proofing of the document
A black and white laser printer or color proof copy of the final document should be delivered. If the document was sent to a printing service provider over a telephone line and modem, it must have faxed a laser-printed proof or delivered a proofing proof. Verify that the proof sheet was obtained from the same electronic file that was sent to the printing service provider or printer.
If the page is too large to print the actual size of the original large proof, be sure to mark the reduction scale on the proof. Color prints should be printed on a laser printer with color separation proofs (in black and white form). In addition to colour proofs provided to the printer, colour separation proofs should also be provided, ensuring that each colour separation proofs are correctly labelled. And check the color separation proof color separation is correct and color number separation. If a black and white composite proof sheet is provided, the sections printed in different colours should be clearly marked.
Whether all precautions are noted
Name, address and contact number should be clearly indicated on disks, portable media, printed proofs and proofs. In short, all documents or media transmitted to a printing service provider or printer should be clearly marked. You should also send a list of all documents or media you have delivered to the printer or printer.
