Generally speaking, if the printing of Cosmetic Boxes has poor color stacking, everyone will think that there is a problem with ink viscosity or ink PH value. In fact, everyone ignores that the fast drying of ink is also the main reason for poor color stacking!
1. What is poor printing color duplication? What are the hazards of poor color stacking?
Printing color overlay refers to the overprinting of two or more colors together. In many cases, it is difficult for the last color to cover the previous color, causing the previous color to be exposed to the outside, which makes the pattern printing not beautiful enough! Poor color overlap will directly affect the appearance of the product, causing customer dissatisfaction and complaints, and even returns.

Generally speaking, the printing order of color overlap is light color and then dark color, ink viscosity from low to high, and pH value from high to low. However, if many printers make it according to the above method, there will still be poor color overlap. Why? In fact, everyone has overlooked that improper adjustment of the quick-drying of the ink can also cause poor printing color stacking!
As shown in the picture above, black stacking yellow is the easiest thing, but black can't cover yellow, what's the matter? Judging from the photos, the black ink density is still relatively high, the gloss is relatively good, and the ink viscosity and PH value ratio are correct.

3. How to reduce printing color duplication by adjusting the quick-drying of ink
1. The low viscosity of the ink does not mean that the drying speed is faster than the high viscosity.
Although the yellow viscosity is low, it does not mean that the ink drying speed is faster than the second color black. In the production process, the black is the easiest to deink and scratch, so more desiccant is added in the ink. Due to the addition of black ink quick-drying agent, the ink drying speed of 14 seconds can reach the ink drying speed of 7 seconds, which corresponds to 7 seconds for black ink and 10 seconds for yellow, so black will dry significantly faster than yellow. If the ink drying speed is fast, the amount of ink transferred from the printing plate will be reduced, so the black ink dries quickly and the amount of ink transferred is small, resulting in poor color stacking.
2. The first color dries faster than the next color
Ink drying speed control points: the faster the ink drying speed, the lower the amount of ink transferred from the printing plate, the lower the amount of ink, the thinner the ink layer, and the lower the covering power. Therefore, the drying speed of the previous color is slower than that of the next color during printing.
