Why is the printing of Corrugated Boxes always blurred and deinked during rainy days? How to control?
Summary:
In this season, the most prone to printing presses are printing blur and deinking. Due to the high humidity of the corrugated board, the high humidity causes the cardboard to become soft, and the printing machine must increase the pressure. When the ink is transferred to the paper, due to the high humidity of the corrugated board, it is easier to form fonts and expand, causing printing paste. Furthermore, high humidity in the corrugated cardboard will also cause deinking on the printing surface. So how to control it?
Press pressure
In rainy days, the paper feed gap must be controlled, and the gap must be controlled within -0.4MM of the thickness of the cardboard. Because the cardboard itself is relatively soft, if the paper feed gap is pressed too tightly, the cardboard will be crushed, and the subsequent printing pressure must be increased, which will easily cause paste and deinking. Reducing the paper feeding pressure ensures the rigidity of the cardboard, so that the printing pressure can be reduced and the clarity of the printing can be ensured.
ink
The high viscosity of the ink is also one of the important reasons that cause printing blur and deinking. Therefore, the viscosity of the ink must be lowered during the rainy days, and the color density of the ink must be increased, so that the drying speed of the ink will be accelerated, in order to avoid the phenomenon of printing paste and deinking caused by the ink.
