The setting of the black field should pay attention to the total amount of ordinary offset printing ink in 320 ~ 360, too thin will cause the printing image color saturation, color is not bright, and the dark part of the C version must be greater than the M version and Y version, and the K version can not be less than 80, otherwise there will be color, dark gray phenomenon, the general setting value is: C90, M85, Y85, K80, if the printing plant conditions are good, printing requirements are high, you can do: C95, M90, Y90, K85, such printing contrast is good, rich levels.

Newspaper printing is rotary printing, fast, ink drying time is short, so the ink can not be too thick in the reproduction process, should be limited to the total dot area rate of four-color printing, at the same time, should also use a larger proportion of gray components instead. According to the characteristics of newspapers, the minimum dot area rate that can be completely transmitted to newsprint is between 6% and 8%.
