1, determine the adaptability and transfer of ink scraper.



The ink on the gravure printing drum is not clean, the ink in the printing ink tray is thickened, and the printed matter will not be colored, hang dirty, run ink, knife wire, knife line and so on. Printing matter hanging dirt and ink running are related to the adjustment of ink viscosity. The temporary stratification of ink can cause dirty hanging, and high ink viscosity will cause ink running, but it is closely related to whether the Angle and pressure of the scraper device are correct and appropriate. Only when the ink on the full printing roller is not scraped clean, pressing the place with your fingers or replacing the new ink is not scraped clean, it may be the ink problem. If you can replace the new ink after scraping, it is the ink added in the diluent out of the problem.


The solution is: change the ink or thinner, and readjust the scraper.


2. Inspection of printing substrate (plastic film).


Ink leakage, white spots, orange skin color, poor adhesion phenomenon, the first to detect the surface tension and static electricity of the printing substrate. The surface tension of the printing substrate is lower than 35dyn ink adhesion will be poor, electrostatic assembly will appear orange skin color, ink spots, ink whiskers, ink drying too fast, the formation of blocking plate, printed matter showing leakage and white spot phenomenon.


The solution is: the surface treatment of the printing substrate, the installation of electrostatic elimination equipment in the relevant parts of the printing press, to increase the humidity of the work site, with slow drying solvent to adjust the drying speed of the ink. If the printing ink dilution, can improve the speed of printing effect will be better.


3. Test the purity and smell of thinner.


The purity of the diluent from the original ink to the diluted ink is poor, so the solvent residue of the printed matter will increase, and the residual odor may also be on the printed matter.


To check the purity of the solvent, a simple test is to stretch an 8cms strip of white paper into the solvent and moisten it, then take it out and wave it around a little to see how fast the solvent dries or if it changes colour. Then sniff the strip for any residual odour. The white paper strip is waved 8 ~ 15 times, the solvent volatilization drying is normal, not dry, the solvent volatilization speed is slow, on the contrary, the volatilization speed is fast. Discoloration of the white paper strip, except for rust in the solvent bucket, indicates a problem with the solvent. After solvent volatilization, the smell of residual odor is not pure enough solvent. Scrape the original ink and diluted ink on the film and test after drying. The scratch residue of the original ink is larger, and the scratch residue of the diluted ink is smaller, indicating normal, whereas the dilution solvent has a problem. Smell the original ink scraping sample residual odor, ink problems. If the smell of dilution ink scraping odor, prove that the solvent used in diluent is not pure.


The solution is: change the ink or adjust the solvent thinner.


4, the correct use of slow drying agent.


The slow drying agent in the ink, or the slow drying thinner used in the printing ink is incorrect, will lead to the printing of biting (eating or dissolving) color phenomenon, the printing of false drying or anti stick phenomenon.


The solution is to change the thinner formula of printing ink, adjust the drying performance of printing ink, improve the printing speed.


5. The application of diluents with different proportions.


The different ratio of printing ink thinner can adjust the drying performance of ink, adjust the color concentration of ink, but also adjust the viscosity of ink. Adjusting the dryness of ink is conducive to improving the speed of printing and the clarity of printing. Adjusting the color concentration of ink can reduce the pressure of cots or the workload of ink scraper, which is conducive to the improvement of printing speed. Adjusting the viscosity of printing ink is the key to control the amount of ink or adapt to the printing speed and room temperature of the printing place.


The solution is: according to the printing speed, the depth or the number of lines made on the printing roller (roll) cylinder, the room temperature of the printing place, the deployment of fast dry, medium dry, slow dry or extra slow dry thinner.


6, from high viscosity to low viscosity use method.


The printing speed is slow, and the printing text and text production is relatively deep. High viscosity printing ink is needed, otherwise the print pattern will form water ripples due to the low viscosity of the ink. The printing speed is fast, and the printing text and text production is shallow. It should be printed with ink with low viscosity. Otherwise, the printing pattern will not be inked enough or miss coating due to the high viscosity of ink.


The solution is: the application of diluent and diluent, adjust the viscosity of printing ink.


7, in the use of special color ink, metal ink, the use of ink roller.


Special color ink printing requires consistent and uniform ink color. Copper and gold powder in metal ink are easy to precipitate, so it is necessary to use an ink leveling roller in printing, and an ink stirring rod should be placed in the printing ink tray. In addition to the use of spot color ink, diluent and diluent should be used together, should not use solvent alone to dilute. Metal ink should not be diluted with solvent, the correct way is to add the right amount of diluent to adjust.


8, the use of non-true solvent and mixed use.


Although non-true solvent solvent can not dissolve the linking resin in the ink, but using this property, and true solvent mixed with dilution ink, can reduce the viscosity of printing ink, reduce the printing bite (eat or dissolve) color phenomenon.


9. Adhesion test of printed products.


Apply the tape to the print, flatten it with your fingers and bind it tightly to the print, then slowly lift it up half the length, and quickly lift the other half. The less ink stuck down from the printed matter, the stronger the adhesion of the ink on the printed matter, and the worse the adhesion is. If the ink on the printed matter is stuck down by more than 40%, the adhesion of the printing ink on the printed matter is not qualified.
