Paper Puzzle For Kids Quality print color correlation - computer color matching

Breakthrough "computer color matching" application technology

Printing buyers have higher and higher requirements for spot color, "computer color matching" system can help customers solve the "color wrong manuscript" trouble. After three years of development and improvement, we have successfully broken through the existing technology framework, enabling customers to use this system more easily, improve production capacity, and shorten the return period from an average of one year to eight months or less.

1. Predictable opening ink key ratio

The "low drop value" spot color base ink dedicated to the database of the "Computer color matching" system must be very close to the color on the "Pantone" color book in chroma and gamut, so that the system can deploy the spot color with accurate color and sufficient concentration, and then with the improvement of application technology, the system can accurately predict the amount of ink required for printing.

Using the above conditions of the spot color base ink, the deployment of 200 commonly used spot colors to calculate the ink key opening proportion during printing, general double pink paper (copper) ink key opening proportion is 45% on average; Book paper and matte powder paper with large amount of ink absorption, the ink key is open only 90% (except for more than two overlapping copies of the manuscript).

If the same very deep, very strong spot color printing, can use less ink to complete the printing, not only can reduce the cost, but also improve the quality of the printing. If the concentration of ink is not enough, the transfer is not ideal, when printing, it is necessary to open the ink key or printing twice to complete; The disadvantage is the need to use a lot of powder, so that the printing surface is rough and difficult to dry; At the same time, it also increases the difficulty of the post-processing sequence, so that the printing quality and production capacity decline; Furthermore, waste of ink and powder spray, does not conform to the principle of environmental protection.

2, Pre-simulation of "dry", "wet" Lab value changes recently a printing manufacturer received a large order for dyeing paper, to use very strong color spot color ink, printing on quite ink - absorbing book paper.

There are five main criteria for buyers to receive printed copies:

(1) matte oil after printing;

(2) high fast light (grade 6 or above);

(3) High wear resistance (Sutherland wear-resisting machine: 4 lb thallium, 2 speed, grinding more than 500 times);

(4) After the printing is completed, the receiving standard is △E0.5;

(5) Through visual inspection, etc.

Several difficult problems facing printing manufacturers:

(1) The light fastness of the paper is lower than grade 1;

(2) The book paper is very ink absorbent. The difference between the "wet" value of Lab and the "dry" value about 20 hours later is more than △E8.
(3) The surface of the paper is rough, which is not conducive to wear resistance;

(4) Because printing and dyeing book paper can not be exposed, in order to avoid uneven gun pressure, generally use two printing, increase the difficulty of the expected "wet", "dry" value.

Subject to the above conditions, the expected situation is almost contrary to the standard required by the buyer! In general, large printing houses do not easily accept such orders, and small printing houses may not have the technology to meet such stringent standards. At that time, this printing factory had just purchased a "computer color matching" system, and the application skills of the operators were still not enough to meet the above requirements. Therefore, we dispatched the printing master and special color matching technician from the Technical support Department to carry out the testing and simulation in a data division sequence using the "X-Rite" testing equipment in the ink room, without any manual deployment. Finally, all the above requirements were successfully completed.

3, deployment of dumb film spot color

Always the most troubled color master thing, is to accurately deploy the spot color under the film on the dummy film template. This not only depends on the master's experience, but also needs to spend a very long time to adjust back and forth, in order to barely meet the standard. The "Computer colour matching" system has recently improved this technology. It takes about one hour to blend the spot colour under the matte film. In addition, the system will clearly record the past data, and when printing the order, there is no time to start a new formula.
