The bite refers to the position where the paper is caught by the paper feeding device of the printing machine when the printing machine transmits paper, which is the part that the printing machine ink cannot print, about 1 ~ 2 cm, so the actual printing area must be deducted from the bite part.

Maximum printable area: 591mm (each side to subtract the 2mm raw edge when cutting the finished product) x430mm (in addition to each side to subtract the 2mm raw edge when cutting the finished product but also subtract the 8mm bite position, this bite position in some printing presses need different sizes, but the four boot is generally 8mm)

Note: The raw edge of flat copper paper is generally cut 2mm on each side

 

Make a collage of senior posters

Since posters are usually based on pictures, I will use a picture as an example here.

Import the image into (Ctrl+H) CorelDRAW. After importing the desired image into CorelDRAW, hit Enter to place the image in the center.

The poster we made here is a picture in the middle, and there are 20mm white edges around each side, so we can borrow the bite (borrow the bite means that the bite is placed on the white edge, without adding the bite), and the poster size can be made into 438mmx590mm. Through the bite, you can also borrow the bleeding position (cutting position). In the general design, a 3MM bleeding position will be left outside the drawing for final cutting into the finished product, and this position can also be borrowed from 1-1. 5MM to meet the oversized design.
