RIP is usually classified into hardware RIP (hard RIP) and software RIP (soft RIP). There is also a combination of software RIP and software RIP. 1. Shapes in Illustrator strokes are stored in EPS format after custom embossed. If custom embossed is selected when square RIP is used, the RIP post embossed does not work.

4. For pages with light background color, such as C10% and Y30%, there may be large mesh pattern (moire) after output with Brisque RIP, while the output effect is better with square RIP or MetaDimension RIP.

 

5. Live output using MetaDimension RIP sometimes has the same cable Angle, and most of this occurs on multi-page PageMaker files or when files are made up. Therefore, you can upgrade the MetaDimension to version 2.6.004 or later at installation to avoid similar problems.

 

6.CorelDraw file output with MetaDimension RIP, often appear white lines, graphics can be transferred in CorelDraw as a bitmap (should carefully check the film) or use square RIP and Brisque RIP output.

 

7. If the PDF file contains text other than Chinese and English, it is recommended to choose color-separation PS for output. PDF files may lose characters when they are exported directly to texts other than Chinese and English. Therefore, it is best to use MetaDimension RIP and Brisque RIP for PDF output.

 

8. When output with MetaDimension RIP and Brisque RIP, do not use Chinese file name for spot colors, otherwise sometimes spot colors will not be exposed.

 

9. Do not use Brisque RIP when a dot gradient is included in Illustrator files. Otherwise, it will change color and be imperceptible. For example, the red gradient will lose the yellow net, but it is difficult to see in the prediction. The best solution is to use square RIP output, but if the flat mesh gradient is too complex there will be local discoloration, color loss phenomenon.

 

10. Some customers will make the file large, using different RIP output will have a big difference, PS2 will be faster than PS3, founder will be faster than Brisque, in addition, PSM is also a good choice. PSM has great advantages (only for EPS files) when interpreting files with many vector graphics.

 

11. In an Illustrator file, if a gradient bar is pressed over another color block and the overprint option is selected for the gradient bar, separate colors should be printed. PSM, Square RIP, or Brisque RIP should be used if saved as EPS or composite printing, and PS2 mode should be used when Brisque RIP is used.

 

12. In CorelDraw, the contour property of the graph property should not select "by image scale" (called "contour scaling with image" in CorelDraw9.0), otherwise the contour will be distorted when interpreted in Brisque RIP.

 

13.Brisque's interpretation of high-precision gray-scale images reduces the accuracy of the images. The solution is to improve the ct accuracy or to use square RIP or MetaDimension RIP.
