Bronzing technology is the most important process of self-adhesive printing.
In general, Vinyl Sticker logo includes various stamping processes: cold stamping, round stamping, flat stamping and so on. According to the processing method of self-adhesive label, the bronzing method is divided into sheet paper and web paper. Sheet metal stamping to the traditional stamping process is the same, in the special stamping machine processing. 1. Cold stamping on rotary press
This is a new process of bronzing, no longer use heated metal plate, but the use of printing adhesive method, so that the metal foil transfer, the realization of bronzing. The technological process is: in the printing area where the stamping is needed, the UV pressure sensitive adhesive is printed first, and the adhesive is dried by the UV drying device, and then the special metal foil is used to compound with the pressure sensitive adhesive, and then the metal foil is peeled off. So the part of the metal foil that needs to be transferred is transferred to the printed surface to achieve cold stamping. Cold stamping process has the advantages of low cost, energy saving, high production efficiency, the use of existing equipment parts, no need to add additional devices, it is a promising new process.
2, rotary press round bronzing
The bronzing plate used in the round stamping is roller shaped, and the stamping roller is in contact with the roller to achieve the bronzing. Round pressing round bronzing is suitable for use in the wheel transformation label machine of continuous paper feeding, but it has certain requirements on the speed of paper feeding, that is to say, it has an impact on the printing speed. But compared with flat stamping, the efficiency is greatly improved. The manufacturing cost of the rotary bronzing roller is high, so it is only suitable for the long version of live bronzing.
3, label machine flat pressing and bronzing
Whether the relief label printing machine is flat pressing or circular pressing type equipment, because the web paper is intermittently fed, so the bronzing method is all flat pressing. In general, the bronzing station is an independent unit. There are also some models of bronzing die cutting that share a unit and are used separately.
4. Multi-station flat pressing and bronzing
Some models have two-station bronzing units, such as the SMHC-45-MWL label maker from Shiki, Japan, where one unit is close to the printing plate to complete the transverse bronzing, and the other unit is a separate unit to complete the longitudinal bronzing. This model can carry out dual color bronzing at the same time.
5. Flat pressing and bronzing on processing machine
The machine is specially designed for processing printed reel labels and labels that do not need to be printed. Bronzing is a function of the processing machine. The bronzing device on the processing machine is commonly used in the flat pressing way, and its working principle is the same as that of the label machine.
According to the sequence of self-adhesive bronzing, it can also be divided into first bronzing process and after bronzing process, where the first bronzing refers to the first bronzing on the label machine, and then printing; Then bronzing refers to the first printing, and then gilding. The key to bronzing and bronzing is the drying of ink. The ink used is different, and the label printing should adopt different bronzing and bronzing processes:
1, the first stamping process
When the label machine with the intermittent paper stamping part installed in the front uses ordinary ink to print labels, the first stamping process is adopted. Because the ink used is oxidation polymerization drying type, it takes some time for the ink layer to dry thoroughly after printing, so the stamping pattern must avoid ink. The best way to avoid ink is to pre-gild the drum material and then print.
The first stamping process requires that the printing pattern and the stamping pattern are separated (parallel), because the anodized surface is smooth, no ink, can not be printed. The first bronzing can prevent ink dirt, to ensure the quality of label printing.
2, after the stamping process
The rear stamping process is used in the stamping parts installed in the back door label machine, printing using UV ink. The drum material is printed first, and the ink is dried instantly by UV drying device, and then the material surface or ink surface after ink drying is bronzed. Because the ink has been dry, bronzing pattern and printing pattern can be juxtaposed also can be overprinted, will not occur ink dirty phenomenon.
The rear bronzing is the ideal method of the two bronzing methods, which also brings convenience to the label pattern design and expands the application scope of the bronzing pattern. However, due to the limitations of equipment functions, the cost of label printing is relatively high. The first stamping process is suitable for small label processing of simple patterns, with low cost and wide application range. It is a common method used by small and medium-sized printing factories.
