2. Horizontal down warping


The reason is: the moisture content of the base paper is too high; Abnormal temperature and velocity at the heating site.


Solution: (1) increase the heating winding surface of the face paper on the double layer preheater; (2) the use of adhesives with good viscosity, reduce the amount of glue on the composite machine; (3) reduce the winding surface of the paper in the single-side machine on the roller dryer; (4) reduce the production speed of the compound machine; (5) correctly adjust the speed of the production line to match the steam valve of the flat dryer; (6) Replace the facial paper that seriously exceeds the moisture requirement.

Three, washboard phenomenon


The so-called washboard phenomenon refers to the corrugated cardboard produced concave phenomenon along the corrugated peak and the back of the corrugated peak on the surface paper. The shape is like household washboard, so it is called washboard phenomenon.


The root cause of corrugated board washboard phenomenon should mainly be attributed to improper adhesive glue, caused by excessive glue gathered on both sides of the corrugated peak. This situation for the quantitative low box board paper harm is particularly prominent.


The specific methods to control the phenomenon of board washboard are as follows: adjusting the quantity of surface paper, using the box board paper with higher quantity is the most direct and effective way to eliminate and reduce the washboard shape (but it will increase the cost); The use of high quality adhesive can reduce the amount of corrugated peak sizing; Control the heating winding surface of the face paper on the pre-heater, because the box board paper is too dry to absorb more glue, easy to produce washboard phenomenon; Adjust the parallelism between the sizing roller and the paper guide roller of the compound glue machine and the gap between them, and strictly guide roller (press roller) pressure degree to prevent the collapse of the glue increase.

In the process of production of corrugated cardboard, the control of water content of cardboard is very important. When the water content is too high, the processed cardboard will appear soft, not stiff, and easy to collapse after packing. When the moisture is low, the processed cardboard is hard, brittle and easy to crack after packing. The moisture control of cardboard is a complicated matter, which is mainly determined by the following two factors:


The moisture content of the raw paper should be strictly controlled. According to the current standard, the moisture content of the raw paper should be (8±2) %. And the storage of base paper is best to set up a separate warehouse, the temperature is generally in (18±3) ℃, humidity is generally in (35±5) %. Do not put in the open air, otherwise easy to cause moisture change and the two ends are not the same as the middle.


Temperature is one of the factors affecting the quality of corrugated board. It can not only adjust the moisture of the base paper, but also make the base paper warm up, which is an important condition for the curing of paste. Therefore, the paperboard production line is equipped with many preheaters and flat dryer, used to adjust the moisture content of base paper and single-sided paper, and make the paste solidify and finally achieve the purpose of adhesion.


In order to effectively control the moisture of finished corrugated cardboard, we must pay attention to the following matters:


If the water content of the paperboard is too high and the temperature of the preheating roll cannot meet the requirements, the boiler steam pressure must be increased to make the steam supplied reach saturated steam. Under normal circumstances, the steam pressure should be kept at 1.1Mpa±0.2Mpa.


If the moisture content is low, it is necessary to adjust the guide roller to reduce the preheating area, and make full use of the single-sided machine spray device (wetting roller) to spray the base paper and increase the moisture content of the base paper so that it meets the standard requirements.


Flat dryer in the work, less than last resort, can not stop. The single-sided machine should speed up before replacing the base paper and accumulate more paper on the bridge; The composite machine should be slowed down after receiving the signal, and then speed up after the single-sided machine is completed. If the equipment has to stop, such as failure, the conveyor blanket should be lifted to prevent excessive moisture loss of cardboard on the flat dryer.


For the single machine, to adjust the gap between the rubber roller and the rubber roller. In general, the gap between the rubber roller and the rubber roller is 0.2mm-0.25mm, and the gap between the rubber roller and the main corrugated roller in the state of heat machine should be 0.02mm larger than the thickness of corrugated paper used. For the double-sided machine, the gap between the rubber roller and the rubber roller is also 0.2mm - 0.25mm, the gap between the press roller and the rubber roller should be 0.05mm - 0.1mm smaller than the height of the single-sided corrugated cardboard through, and the gap between the two ends of the roller should be consistent, can be measured with a feeler.
