The World 3D Printing Alliance, China 3D Printing Alliance and the Qingdao Municipal government jointly announced in Beijing that the second World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference will be held in Qingdao on June 20-21. The reporter has learned that the world 3D printing technology industry headquarters base will be built in the future.

With the theme of "3D Printing into Our Lives", more than 1,200 representatives of 3D printing experts and enterprises from more than 10 countries, including the US, Germany, Belgium, the UK, the Netherlands and Australia, will attend the conference. As the supporting activities of the conference, the World 3D Printing Technology Expo and 3D printing fashion Show will be held in Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center from June 19 to 22. There will be 100 exhibitors, the exhibition area will reach 13,000 square meters, and the professional audience will exceed 40,000 people, which is the largest and most authoritative industry event in the global 3D printing industry.
In addition, Luo Jun, secretary general of the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance and executive director of the China 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance, said that the world 3D printing technology Industry Headquarters base will be built in the future. The preliminary plan is to build one headquarters in China and one in the United States, but the specific location is still under investigation.

Luo Jun said that 3D printing technology is an advanced manufacturing technology, in the industrial, biomedical, cultural and creative, architecture and other fields of technology has been relatively mature, has a very large industrial chain, is the crystallization of intelligent manufacturing technology, has attracted wide attention around the world. The core technologies of future 3D printing are mainly concentrated in industrial and biomedical fields.
But Luo Jun also put forward, "small and scattered" is the current overall status of the industry. At present, there is no absolute leading enterprises and leading figures to lead. In addition, the industry lacks a mature business model and has not cracked the app market effectively. Luo Jun believes that the development of any emerging technology must be combined with the application market. If the best technology can not be widely used in practice, then the technology must have no development prospects. "The next three to five years will be crucial for our 3D printing industry, and if our application market does not open up effectively, our future will be more difficult."

According to the organizer of the conference, several listed companies including Kwangyunda (14.100, 0.35, 2.55%), Jinyun Laser (18.500, 0.38, 2.10%) and Haiyuan Machinery (10.55, 0.28, 2.73%) will participate in the conference. Haiyuan Machinery recently said on the investor relations interactive platform, up to now, its equity company Fujian Haiyuan 3D Printing High-tech Co., Ltd. has launched a number of industrial and home 3D printer prototypes to the market, and has applied for and obtained 14 patents related to automation equipment, including 2 invention patents and 12 utility models; Meanwhile, we have applied for a total of 7 3D printing-related patents, including 2 invention patents, 3 utility model patents and 2 appearance patents. At present, the products of Haiyuan 3D Printing Company have been successfully developed and sold on the market mainly include FDM series rapid prototyping equipment, in addition to the first industrial paraffin paraffin 3D printer with independent intellectual property rights in China, and will soon launch the light curing laser 3D printer.
