There are several ways to solve the lack of font in the hair type:

1. Upgrade the typesetting software and complete configuration of typesetting database, including Huaguang series character database and its upgrade database, Founder series character database and Founder GBK character database, Hanyi character database, Wen Ding character database, Handing character database, etc. Note that the font library should be constantly upgraded, because some advertising designers often use new fonts in order to pursue novel effects of advertising. It is necessary to ensure the consistency of fonts used by the font library and front-end design software. This approach is the fundamental way to solve the problem, but the cost is very high, the more to buy the library, the greater the investment cost, and the upgrade of the library for many users is not a small burden, not to mention some companies' front-end design display library and back-end corresponding to the text library is not at the same time to the market.

(1) Install the fonts used in the design software to the host. The general plate-setting design software is equipped with a matching front end design display font library. Purchase the plate-setting software will get these fonts without increasing the cost. In addition, the purchase of front-end display libraries in the market is much cheaper than the purchase of back-end text libraries, and most users can afford it. System fonts are usually installed in the font path of the operating system, Windows operating system is installed in C:\Windows\fonts, Windows Nt and Windows2000 system fonts are usually installed in X:\winnt\fonts (X is the disk character installed by the operating system).

(2) Configure fonts in the typesetting software. If the founder PSPNT typesetting system is used, when resetting the font, select the "Use Windows Font Library" item, and then reset the font, the newly added font can be directly used for typesetting, without the need for back-end typesetting fonts.

If RIP2000 is used, you can also use this method to add the main font directory X when setting the font path: \rip2000\fonts, compatible fonts directory X:\rip2000\ fonts, in addition, add a directory X:\winnt\fonts, and then reset the font library (for font registration), as shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3, so that the newly added fonts can be used in the rip2000 typeset system.

(3) Maintenance of Windows fonts. In order to improve the performance of the system, it is suggested to add only the fonts that do not exist in the typesetting system to the Windows font library, and delete the back-end typesetting libraries that exist in the typesetting system from the Windows font directory. When new fonts appear in the typesetting process, they should be added to the Windows font directory. Each time the addition or deletion of fonts should follow the operation method of Step (2), reset the font library in the typesetting software or re-register the fonts, so as to ensure the correct typesetting.
