What are the classification and characteristics of Handmade Paper Gift Box


In the process of printing, the compression deformation of lining is mainly manifested as sensitive elastic deformation and plastic deformation. The sensitive elastic deformation plays an important role in printing, mainly because the elastic properties of packaging materials obey Hooke's law, that is, the sensitive elasticity of lining is directly related to the elastic modulus E of lining materials. Therefore, theoretically, the elastic modulus E of lining materials can be used to classify the lining materials.


However, there are not only many types of lining materials used in the printing process, but also different types of the same kind of materials, and even the same kind of materials are different. What is more special is that the lining materials used in printing are often used together, so it is difficult to determine the elastic modulus of the lining materials in printing, which can only be roughly determined by E. In the design of printing press and printing process, the lining materials are often classified according to the soft and hard properties, but there is no strict boundary between the soft and hard properties. It is generally believed that under the action of the same external force, the lining material with large strain has small elastic modulus, which is called "soft"; while the lining material with small strain has large elastic modulus, which is called "hard". Therefore, lining materials can be divided into three categories according to soft and hard classification:


(1) Rigid wrapping


Usually consists of a rubber blanket and one or two sheets of padded paper (or plastic film), its thickness is small. This kind of lining is relatively hard, the elastic modulus of the lining is large, and a small amount of deformation can produce a large printing pressure. When using this kind of lining, the lining compression should be controlled within 0.2mm, preferably around 0.1mm, so the offset printing press is required to reduce the diameter of about 2mm.


(2) Soft wrapping


Generally, it is composed of thick felt under the blanket and a lot of tissue paper, which is thicker. Soft lining is just the opposite of hard lining. Its elastic modulus is small, and the amount of lining compression required to produce the same printing pressure is relatively large. Generally, the compression amount is controlled within 0.2~0.2mm, so the diameter reduction of offset printing press is required to be above 4mm.


(3) Neutral lining


Generally, the rubber blanket (1.85mm) is padded with thick felt and then a certain thickness of paper, its thickness is larger than the rigid envelope lining, the elastic modulus is in the center, so the performance and deformation are also in the center, so the required offset printing press diameter reduction in the range of 3.0~3.5mm.
